  i'm getting married on oct.13.

  I think all of us that are still associated with the witnesses one way or another (Family)is waiting to see what happens. From my understanding..they are going to cover it this week at the Kingdom Hall in their Ministry School.

  A hug for you...as your special day approaches..don't let anyone or anything ruin it for you! Hubby and I got married in a little house by a one armed Justice of the peace. We have been married 44 years last month! Even tho he is still and inactive JW and I am disassociated JW.. (And Mother in Law is VERY active JW...)

  We scuba dived but only in lakes and quarries...I didn't like the things that were in the water! Big monsters! Now I won't even go swimming in a lake!

  I was always afraid something would sneak up on me! Couldn't see around you very good.

  We had some friends that dived with us that were nuts.I just new one of thoe idiots was gonna spear me!..He did let it go off a few times! He was the kind that would hook you with a fish hook if you were fishing!

  Sold all the gear and haven't done it since.

  Hey..do you remember those Hoverounds they sold for a while? Didn't need a tank with them..but you couldn't dive very deep.

  Didn't have to worry about a air tank though!

  a poster( don't ask who said, it i don't want argument with the person) here implied a while ago that many of the xjw here no longer believe in god because they cannot accept the "fact" that they willl be destroyed during armageddon.

  in other words you are looking for ways to discredit that you ( you.

  meaning anyone) will be destoryed.

  Did you believe anything then? Or is that maybe why you left?

  Gov signs NEW Illinois Reporting Law Today

  the illinois legislature passed a new law requiring clergy to report cases of child abuse, neglect, battery, sexual assult, and molestation to the police.

  the law is fairly comprehensive, with one tiny exception, that anything learned in religious "confession" is still exempt.

  while disappointing, this is a step in the right direction.

  Cancer

  you might think i'm being picky here, please dont take this the wrong way.

  the thing is, i'm stuggling with my health at the moment and am going in hospital to see if my cancer has spread.. heres my gripe: some people (noone on this board) say to me, over and over, that they know someone who had skin cancer and they're fine now....how they can just remove the mole and everything is fine.

  Can you calrify something? I thought a D.O. ..was a Doctor of Osteopathy ? Is that right?

  Someone here said it was a MD with more training. But I was under the impression that they were between a MD and a Chiropracter. This one has Specializes in Diseases and Tumors of the skin. It doesn't say "Certified".

  He works in a Dermatology office. He has D.O. after his name. Not M.D.
